Garachico and Buenavista del Norte
Garachico is a small town with big cultural impact and always worth a visit. There is an historic fortress and a historic section of the town, both in a well-preserved shape. Buenaviste del Norte is the most western part of the island and offers a breath-taking view. Nearby is the mountain village Masca, where you can inspect the preserved architecture of the last centuries.
Parque Rural de Teno
These gigantic grounds are one of the jewels of Tenerife. This area is an absolute must see. Here you can understand Tenerife’s geological characteristics and learn about its development over the millennia. The lighthouse at Punta de Teno is a hot spot for photographs from all over the world due to it being a fantastic photo scene.
This is the place of the majestic cliffs at the west side of Tenerife. They are over 600 metres high and called „The Wall of Hell” by the Guanches. The shallow depths in the sea makes this place a paradise for all sorts of water activities. It is a special kind of nature reserve, being an important part of the Natura 2000 network, dealing with areas of a unique ecosystem. Many people come here to observe the diverse wildlife that comes together at this spot.
